て言うボタンがあったら、押したいと思うか。
しかも、それを仕事として行うのでお金がもらえると言うのだ。
誰も人を殺してお金を得たいとは思わないだろう。
快楽殺人者やサイコパスじゃないかぎり
僕のようなノーマルな人間はそんなこと思いもしない。
でも、この世の中には死刑執行という仕事があるらしい。
彼ら彼女らはそれだけが仕事というよりは業務の一部でしかないのだが、罪人の人生をボタンひとつで終わらせるのだ。
死刑を担当するのは刑務官なのだが、先ほど言ったが刑務官も仕事といえどしたい仕事ではないだろう。
だから、自分が死刑執行人を担当するかどうかは死刑当日に言われるらしい。
その理由としては、事前に伝えると有給を使われて、死刑が予定通り行えないからだという。
ということは過去に有給を使われて、死刑が延期になったのだろうか・・・
そんな責任を逃れない中、死刑が行われるのだが死刑執行人は3人いるらしい。
実際にボタンが３つ用意され、3人が同時に押す。
誰もどのボタンによって死刑が行われたかわからないようにするためだそうだ。
もし、自分が押したボタンによって人を殺したとなると精神的に楽なものではない。
罪人であろうと、人の命である。

と心のどこかで思い続けるだろう。
子どもの時にした、爆弾ゲームのように自分のところで爆発しないようにできるだけ早く人に渡す。
責任転嫁というやつだ。
結局、責任というのは誰かがずっと持っているのではなく渡しては、受け取っての繰り返しである。
その場所に留まることのできない雲のようにふわふわしている。
責任というものはあまり背負いたくないものだ。
